Now that you have the basics of what a “Traffic Exchange” can do for you it’s time to try for yourself. Join a T/E
(traffic exchange) do a little surfing just to get a feel of what they are all about and how one or two can possibly work for you needs getting traffic to your sites.
You might have read somewhere that free stuff on the internet is worthless. That is a false statement and I can attest to that. Most T/E’s are free to join and use. The thing is what makes a traffic exchange work is each member must do his/her part by surfing.
Surfing For Points.
Surfing is the only thing that makes the whole thing work. You surf mines and other members sites and we surf yours and build up points to keep our sites active and seen.
Make sure that what you are advertising belongs to you and not some affiliate site. The best pages to advertise on T/E are simple sign-up pages. A page with a sign-up form on it, and something of value to offer in exchange for a name and email address. A
free page is perfect for just that.

Most Traffic exchanges are free to join and give you a certain amount of credits to get you started after a certain amount of surfs. Not only are most free to join but you can use thier service as long as you like. All that is required of you is to be an active member, which is to say an active surfer.That is not a lot to ask considering it cost you nothing but some of your time. If done properly your time can be very profitable.
There are tons of traqffic exchanges out here that you can use and more sprouting up everyday. They all can be very effective. But, some more than others.you want to be a member of a traffic exchange that has a very active member list. How will you know? Use a tracking software to see how often your sites are being viewed. The ones that send you the most hits are the ones that you surf the most. Makes sense? Ofcourse it does.
